5 Week Old Airedale Puppies

In this video, you going to meet our largest puppy, known affectionately as, Mr. O, Mr. orange and sometimes the tank!

Then we’ll introduce you to another beautiful male five-week-old Airedale puppy, Mr. Gray.

For those who may have missed it you can see our prior video about our first male puppy Mr. Tanner, in yesterday’s post.

5 Week Old Airedale Puppies

We have six male Airedales and three females. The Mom is 53.5 Lbs. and the Dad is 75/80 Lbs.

At our last way in, Mr. orange weighed 5 lbs. 15 oz. Mr. Gray, weighed 3 lbs. 8 oz.

To remind everyone, Annie’s weight is 53 1/2 pounds and Jack’s weight is about 75 to 80 pounds.

So, I would venture to say Mr. orange is probably going to come out closer to his dad’s weight and Mr. Gray will be closer to Annie’s weight when they mature.

The Airedale was bred from the Old English Black and Tan Terrier (now extinct), the Bull Terrier, the Otterhound and probably some other Terrier breeds, originally to serve as an all around working farm dog. In Britain this breed has also been used as a war dog, guide dog and police dog. In the United States, this breed has been used to hunt big game, hunt upland birds, hunt water fowl and serve in many other working capacities.
