With today’s high price of gas and Diesel, various shortages popping up, I think it might be prudent to stock up on a couple of large bags of your favorite Airedale kibble. I’ve already seen Costco stop stocking one brands of dog food and it seems like all their prices really jumped up. Continue reading “Airedale thoughts”

Large Airedale Terrier puppy at 9 weeks old in Arizona.
I have owned both the regular size Airedale terriers and the larger Airedale Terriers also known as Oorang Airedales, Mountain Airedales or just plain big Airedale Terriers.
Personally, I believe the larger Airedale Terrier is the ideal Airedale! As far as personalities go, I have seen absolutely no difference between the regular size Airedale and the larger Airedales. Continue reading “Big Airedale Puppy”
Sorry, we have no puppies now for sale. If you are looking for the Oorang or larger Airedale, best to look in Texas or Midwest. Continue reading “Larger Airedale puppies”
For me personally it seems like just a couple of months ago; in actuality it was January 2, 2019, that Annie gave birth to nine beautiful Airedale puppies.
This was the first time that Judi or I have ever bred a female dog. We’ve seen many puppies that were just a week or two old, but never saw the actual birth of the puppies. We consulted one professional Airedale breeder and one local lady who had bred a number of Airedales, including two litters where my prior big boy Airedale, Oakley, was the sire. I felt that I was prepared for the delivery and had all supplies on hand that I could possibly need. Continue reading “Mountain Airedale Puppies Celebrate 1Yr. Birthday!”
Annie ad nine Airedale Terrier puppies on January 2, 2019. This picture was taken when the puppies were eight weeks old, and these are the last that were remaining to go to their new forever homes.
You can see any looking over my shoulder and watching her little puppies .
Judi & I interacted with the puppies multiple times per day.
Just to be on the safe side, until they got there first vaccinations at six weeks it was just Judy and I our son and his girlfriend ( after sanitizing their close shoes and hands ) who interacted with the puppies . After their first shot, we still sanitized visitors who wanted to come by and also at this time was the first time that we took them out into our backyard. With the birth of Annie’s first litter of nine puppies on 1/2/2019, and my increased posting about Annie and the puppies, the unique traffic to this blog hit new records in both January and February.
Our 4 1/2-year-old female Airedale Terrier had her first litter of puppies on January 2. She had nine puppies, six boys and three girls.
When they were going on their seventh week new forever parents came by to select their new family members. Naturally, it was hard to see these guys go, but also good to see the smiles and joy of the people who are going to be providing them there forever homes. This is our 8 week old Airedale puppy Mr. Brown, now, Bodie, and his new human family.
Bodie’s new forever home is just north of us, in Oceanside, California. Annie, Judi and I will certainly, have dog park meet-ups as he grows. Continue reading “8 Week Old Airedale Puppy”
