Large Airedale Terrier Puppy 9 Weeks Old

I think I’m going to need a larger bed for Teddy. Teddy is 9 weeks old and weighs just over 21Lbs.

The bed is the one that was in Teddy’s kennel when he arrived just about two weeks ago. Two days after Teddy arrived we took him to the veterinarian for a general health exam. At the veterinarian’s office Teddy Wade in at 15.8 pounds.

Needless to say, Teddy is a hungry boy. Where supplementing Teddy’s puppy chow meals with either powdered goats milk or condensed goats milk. Where doing this to ensure that he has high-protein meals with all the vitamins and minerals required for a fast-growing puppy.

Also, we found that Teddy likes steamed carrots and baked yams.

Annie and Teddy are getting along really well. Naturally, there are a couple of problem areas between the two. When it comes to meals, Teddy likes to not only eat from his bowl but also get food out of Annie’s bowl as well. Annie’s not too happy about this, and usually let’s Teddy know really quickly. But, Teddy is very persistent, and sometimes seems fearless. I’m trying to solve this problem by feeding Teddy first, and then feeding Annie.

The other problem area resides around our bed. Annie has always jumped up on the bed for some afternoon shuteye, and although Teddy is too small at the moment to get on the bed, he still tries. If Annie is already on the bed, she will bark and snap at him, letting him know that that’s her exclusive territory.
