Airedale Terrier puppies – Oorang Airedale Dog Training
Our 4 1/2-year-old female Airedale Terrier had her first litter of puppies on January 2. She had nine puppies, six boys and three girls.
When they were going on their seventh week new forever parents came by to select their new family members. Naturally, it was hard to see these guys go, but also good to see the smiles and joy of the people who are going to be providing them there forever homes. Our last of six male California Airedale puppies (Barnaby) left yesterday for his new forever home in Oregon.

Later today our Mr. Blue, now, Barnaby, will be leaving for his new forever home in Gresham Oregon.
When Barnaby leaves, we will only have his sister Mabel for about a week. It is sure getting quiet around here!
He is swift, formidable, graceful, big of brain, an ideal chum and guard. ….To his master he is an adoring pal. To marauders he is a destructive lightning bolt.”

This is our eight week old Airedale Terrier puppy, Ms. Yellow (now Farfel) who headed to Brentwood in Los Angeles today. Farfel’s new human family has owned an Airedales in the past.
Farfel had her own box in the back seat of the car and that had toys and pillow to keep her happy on the ride back north to Los Angeles. From the time they left here, I’m sure they got back to Farfel’s new forever home around sunset. Continue reading “Eight Week Old Airedale Terrier Puppy”

This video was shot yesterday, and as you’ll see, where down to four Airedale puppies. All the puppies just love to get out in the backyard and run. They have a great time, but they do get tired pretty quick. Then it’s back in the house for a drink of water and a little nap.

Annie gave birth to nine puppies on January 2 right here in our living room. We kept them just in the living room until after we gave them their first of three required shots. One of the things that the shots prevent is an airborne disease that affects dogs, so we didn’t want to put them outside until at least they had their first shot.
Naturally once they were out in the backyard they loved it. So, depending on weather conditions, we tried to get the puppies out in the backyard for play time every day
Yesterday afternoon our Mr. Gray (now Teddy) said goodbye to his Mom, brothers and sisters and headed north to Northridge California with his new human family. Wow, looking back, these eight weeks really flew by. Hard to believe we were a ten Airedale home!
It was a big day yesterday here in San Diego Airedale puppy land. First, we had one of our three female puppies leave and then we had another male puppy, our Mr. Gray (now known as Teddy), leave for Northridge California. The puppy pen looks so much bigger now, with just four puppies left. Tomorrow, another male puppy will be going to Oceanside California, and then on Saturday, a female puppy will be leaving for Los Angeles.
Today our Ms. Purple, (one of three of our female Airedale puppies) now renamed – Carlota. met her new human family. Carlota will be living in California wine country in Paso Robles. Continue reading “Female Airedale Puppy – Wine Country”
Yesterday our 8 wk old male Airedale Terrier puppy, Mr. Tanner (now Ace) met his forever human companion and said goodbye to his Mom, 3 brothers & 3 sisters as he left home for Yuma, Arizona.
