17 years I’ve be hiking up this (Cowles Mtn.) mountain with Airedales. We have taken in many great sunsets over the Pacific, but until December 12th., we never did a sunrise hike. This is our larger Airedale Terrier sunrise hike on Cowles Mountain in San Diego California.

Mission Trails Regional Park is about 5,700 acres and the largest regional park west of the Mississippi.

Many consider the larger Airedale Terrier the ideal dog. These larger Airedales are known as Oorang Airedales, Mountain Airedales and just larger Airedale Terriers.

A reunion three years in the making for Army Specialist Vance McFarland. Thanks to help from Mission K9 Rescue, McFarland and his former Tactical Explosive Detection Dog were reunited for good.
When these soldiers retire they should have the option to keep their dogs with no charge at all.
