Three male Airedale Terrier puppies six weeks old

This is the second of two videos featuring our six week old male Airedale puppies venturing outside for the first time. Our female AKC registered Airedale Terrier (Annie 4.5 years old) had a total of nine puppies, six of which were males and three females. My prior video showed the first set of three emails outside for the first time, and this video shows the other three male Airedale puppies going outside.

All nine puppies were born in our living room and until today had not been outside. I guess I decided to be cautious and wait until they had their first of three inoculations before having them go outside.

Airedale Terrier Puppies Six Weeks Old

It’s been a little rainy here in San Diego, but from now on, we’re going to try to get the puppies out on the patio for playtime every day. We expanded their holding pen inside the house to give them more room, but nothing compares to playing outside. We are going to get another movable fence type enclosure, so we can have all nine puppies out on the patio at one time.

This week is going to be busy for the puppies. All the puppies already have had their first shots and the number of deworming treatments. Another deworming is coming up today and then in a few days they’ll be going to the veterinarian for individual physical exams.

Time with the puppies is going by very quickly, in just about two more weeks they’ll all start to be leaving for their forever homes with their new human family members.
