Large Airedale Puppies

Annie gave birth to nine puppies on 1/2/2019. Below are three of her pups at around four/five weeks old.

Annie’s puppies just turned six months old, and I asked the Airedale parents if they could send in some photos of their pups and their weights. Well, this post is about showing you these beautiful, larger Airedale puppies from birth to six months old.

Let’s start at the birth of these Airedale puppies:

Annie (53lbs) & Jack (75lbs) have a three day romp.

The tiny Airedales come into the world over a nine hour delivery:

Annie knew what to do. Below she is removing the birthing sac from a pup who just took its first breath just moments before.

Annie had ten puppies. Unfortunately, one (the fourth out) was still-born.

Below, on the left, are Annie’s puppies at between four and six weeks old. On the right, are the same pups at six months old. All five puppies weighed in around 50 Lb.  up to a high of sixty pounds.

Two of Annie’s puppies (Bodie and Guapo) have their forever homes here in San Diego. Just a few weeks ago, we had a reunion at a newer off-leash dog park in Encinitas. Naturally, Annie was there with her brother, Pumpernickel, her son Bodie, and our new 14 week old Teddy. If you missed this post, here is a link to view it – Airedale Terrier reunion

Thanks to the five Airedale parents who took the time to send me the photos and info on their new family members. Latter this week we will have a new post with additional photos of Annie’s sons at six months old.
