Airedale Terrier puppies are born with their eyes shut, I understand that they open them in about two weeks after birth. Also, when they are born they cannot hear, their hearing develops in about two weeks. Continue reading “Airedale Terrier Moment of Birth”
Annie just before 1st. pup & 1st. just out & Mom cleaning it up. 3 pups so far . . . . It’s really something to see Airedales born!!!
This was the first time that my wife and I were at or participated in puppy birthing. Prior to this, Oakley our 99 pound Mountain Airedale was the sire to two litters here in San Diego. Naturally, all that consisted of was having a female Airedale come over for a couple days. Continue reading “Airedale Terrier Puppy Birth”
The consensus was that Annie was going to give birth last evening January 1.
Unfortunately, nature and Annie didn’t cooperate. Continue reading “Airedale Terrier Birth”
We have nine Airedale Terrier puppies that were born on January 2, 2019. They will be ready for new homes in the first week of March 2019. We had three females and six males.
Annie is 4.5 Yrs old, and 53.5 lbs., and Jack is 5yrs old and 75-80Lbs. Both have had no health issues. The puppies have already been to the veterinarian and had their tails dock and their dewclaws removed. Once they turned six weeks old, they’ll be going back to the veterinarian, for a full physical check of each puppy.
Because of the size of the Dam and Sire, there is a good possibility that the majority of the puppies will be near the top and of the AKC standard, and or over the size standard. All the puppies will be up to date on their shots and de-worming. If you are interested in getting one of these AKC registered puppies, you can email me at: seo711@gmail.com Continue reading “Airedale Puppies”
On January 2, 2019, we had nine Airedale Terrier puppies born here in San Diego California. Annie, the mom, is about 53 1/2 pounds and 5 1/2 years old. The dad, Jack, is five years old and weighs approximately 75 to 80 pounds.
So, these puppy should be a little larger than the standard size Airedale Terrier. When the puppies reach eight weeks old they’ll be ready for new forever homes. Continue reading “Larger Airedale Terrier Puppies for Sale”

This is an interview with a breeder of a large Airedale Terriers. Most of the Airedale terriers at this breeders facility range from about 50 pounds on the low side to 122 pounds! Sorry about the sound quality, the camera picked up the motor noise of the gimbal that I was using, and I just couldn’t get it out of the audio track.
These Airedale terriers are way over the AKC standards for the Airedale line. This means that you would not be able to enter these large Airedale Terriers in any AKC sanctioned dog show. Now, with that said from having owned both the regular Airedale Terriers and the larger (sometimes called Oorang Airedales or Mountain Airedales) Airedales, I think the larger Airedale is the ideal size Airedale.
